Prayers coveted

As we approach the departure date I have witnessed how the forces of evil have attempted to disrupt our mission to the DR. One of our team member's health has been affected and may not be able to go on the trip. I personally have been experiencing a rough upper respiratory infection and am praying for full recovery by this weekend. Our transportation plans to go to the airport may also be affected by another family member's illness. Our own families have also been experiencing some stress related to the preparations for this trip. But I believe that God has greater plans for all of us that cannot be disrupted by the evil one. Please pray for each of the nine individuals who have committed to this trip. I was at Bob's house this evening and we encouraged each other in prayer and support while we packed some of the medications in suitcases to bring to the DR. Praise God for the generous donors of these meds and supplies, and that we have the dedicated support of other church members to separate and pack various meds in baggies to distribute. Please pray for continued protection from spiritual attacks and for good physical health for the team as we prepare to travel. Pray that our hearts and minds will be guarded in Christ. Pray for the families of team members who will remain behind that God will give them peace of mind and increase their faith as they support their loved ones on this journey. Your prayers are very much coveted!
